Great Southern Bank was founded in 1923 with a $5,000 investment and just four employees. What started as a single office in Springfield, Mo, has since grown into a regional institution, now serving the financial needs of more than 130,000 households across the Midwest and beyond. Headquartered in Springfield, Mo, we operate 97 offices across 12 states, including 89 retail banking centers in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, and Nebraska. Additionally, we have commercial lending offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Omaha, and Phoenix, along with one home loan center in Springfield, Mo.
